Have been to this location once (it is very convenient to our current abode). Food was "just OK", and once it was served, we didn't see our server for a very long time. Margaritas - didn't even finish it. Service - teenagers who acted like they sure had better things to do.

I love the lakeside location and food, but I agree with Erik that the service needs to pick it up! Last time I was there, the waiter was so flustered he brought our food before we had silverware and forgot to even bring me my meal, so I had to wait another 10 minutes while the rest of my party ate. Fine, but when my meal came out missing the sauce that goes on the fish tacos I was pretty ticked!
The time before that the waiter technically did everything right, but was so impersonal and barely ever made eye contact.
I'll keep going there for the killer patio and food but grr the service annoys me!

It is a shame that the patio at this location is situated all the way towards the back of the restaurant, because it really kills the vibe when you walk in the door to find four hostesses sitting at the bar, and nobody sitting in the dining room (in all fairness, we were there on a Monday night). Fortunately, the patio was packed with a lot of energy.
Skip the queso, it reminded me of the canned stuff you get out at Tuttle Field, aka "Nachos". It was very bland. The tilapia fish tacos made up for the queso, however. They were nicely seasoned, and the sauces complimented the dish well. The service was very friendly, but a little slow. The food took forever coming out of the kitchen, however it was piping hot.
It was a shame to see the same four hosts sitting at the bar as we left the restaurant, and not a single "Thank You" or "Goodbye". I really hope they pick up their game; I would hate to see them go the way of County Line, as I know they have a ton of potential.

I've never been a big Primo's fan - can't stand the crowd and parking situation. Problem solved. Lake Ray Hubbard's Primo's provides the food and festive atmosphere minus the pick-up crowd and McKinney avenue parking. I am anxious to hit the patio in the summer with some primo quesadillas and a margarita.
