4/5Sali's is the perfect low-maintenance neighborhood Italian spot. There's even a man that eats there every night. Every night they're open, that is. The Cowboy. If you're there at dinner, look for him.
My husband and I love Sali's. We don't go there for pizza, though, we have another fave in that category. It's their Italian classics that keep us coming back - I get the Chicken Carchofie which is in creamy white wine sauce with artichokes - he's stuck on the Chicken Parmigiana. The salad dressings are excellent as well - he gets the house, I get the creamy Italian. I hear people buy the dressings to take home.
Sali's is comfortable. It's affordable. It's cute. The servers are nice, but not TOO nice. The rolls are giant. I guarantee that after all that great food in one of their comfy booths, you wouldn't want to get up to leave even if you COULD.

4/5Sali's is a wonderful Italian place. The food is reasonably priced for the portions you get! The service is great even when they are packed. However, the seemed to have changed their wait staff sometime during the fall. So it has taking us a few times to find the right person. ( where did Ziggy, Chelsea, and Nicolas go? Is patrick still there?)
back to the food. The rigatoni w/ sausage is great! all entre's come with a salad. Their House dressing is very good! The Pizza is average, but you can watch the pie maker hand toss the dough!(don't worry it doesn't touch the ceiling)for desert the cannoli's puts the perfect topping on a nice dinner! great place for a date!
