Friend and I went to Salum for lunch today. Maybe 4 occupied tables when we arrived. Food was very good, though we had to wait at least half an hour for it. Had to ask for bread, then were amused by the staff then serving bread to other occupied tables. Had they forgotten to put bread out, and we reminded them? I had the Serrano Caprese, which was tasty and a good amount for the price of $8.50. Friend had sea bass, which she said was very good, but not as much of a good deal at $14.50. Finished with cappucino and a very lovely pistachio biscotti. Hate to see a place with nice food and marginal service - probably no manager in charge that day. Server's mind seemed to be somewhere else.
