4/5I don't come here for the barbeque - don't even know that I have ever gotten it. I come for the veggies - and not healthy ones. Just good old home style bad for you veggies - squash casserole, potato casserole, fried okra (best in town, real batter not that stuff where you can't even see the okra). The patio is a nice break from the work day.

5/5While it's not the absolute best BBQ I've ever had, it certainly is the best near downtown (that I've had).
5 on vibe even though it would normally be a 4 b/c it's the most you can ask of an uptown BBQ spot. Guy I work with has been going there probably longer than I've been alive, explaining why it hasn't been tainted with uptown douchebaggery.
Only time I've been I had the 2-meat plate with sliced beef and sausage. A bit pricey for lunch at $10 (more if you get a drink), but turned out to be well worth it. Considering I work in Richardson, it's a bit of a hike at lunch.
Most definitely need to get there before 11:45 b/c line was wrapping through the restaurant and out the back door at noon. Lots of celebs on the wall signing off to Sammy, definitely see why.
