5/5One of my new favorite places!
Get the paella. It's not on the menu, but they have three styles to chose from and two serving sizes. The "for two" serving is a full size paella pan...so be warned.
Great atmosphere, great food.

4/5Not sure why this place is so popular. Snotty bartender actually asked a female friend of mine "who she was with" and turned away when she said she was "with herself". Not sure what his thinking was here, especially since she is a smokin' hot, 30-something attorney. Also, this restaurant has one holer bathrooms, which of course resulted in 4-5 deep lines for both men and women all night. Food is good, not too badly priced, but the service was fairly slow probably because it was so busy, almost chaotic. All in all, very average. I was disappointed since I had read good things.

4/5What to choose...it was very difficult to pick from the assortment of tapas offerings. Our waiter advised us that if we needed more later, he would accommodate us. He also recommended a few of the specials that night, a lamb lollypop and the traditional patatas bravas.
Sounds strange that a simple potato dish would stand out of all the other dishes we sampled this night. I suppose it's the most demanded tapas dish in Spain for a reason. The crispy outer, yet tender innards of this tater were the perfect vehicle for the lemon aioli and bravas sauce (savory vinegary tomato sauce).
The mussels are not my favorite of the mollusk family, but these little buggers with the cava broth were small and delightful. Tasty bread to sop up the broth! My husband is more of a mussel connoisseur and he really liked the dish.
The Gapzacho was a mouthful of wow...tart...refreshing bowl of goodness. Please, try the Piquillo peppers, stuffed with eggplant and local goat cheese. I'm not a fan of eggplant in general but these peppers were to die for....or LIVE for rather.
The service was fantastic - we even got some complimentary sherry to cap the night off. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience - one that will make me want to return.
