Snuffers has been in our food rotation for years now. We used to go to the Beltline location every Tuesday night. If you can make it during one of their happy hours, you can get an even better deal. The only complaint I’ve heard co-workers give is that for a burger/fries/drink, you’re going to spend more than you would by going to McD’s. I would have figured this was common sense, but some of my co-workers have been two tacos short of a combo platter. Nonetheless...
The only problem we’ve really had was years and years ago. Back in the day they had an archaic point-of-sale system. It literally did not like splitting checks up. But we were regulars and they made an exception and were very accommodating, which was no doubt appreciated by us. Somehow, one night, Marty (I’m not even sure if he’s still around) the manager got completely bent out of shape about it and a complete ruckus ensued. Needless to say, in the end, Pat Snuffer got involved. Everything finally calmed down after a couple of weeks, but it was weird.
At any rate, the food is good. Well, for what it is. For the health conscious, you’re going to be hard pressed to find something that’ll cater to you. It’s gotten better over the years, but mostly everything on the menu is fried. They’re famous for their cheese fries, and I have yet to encounter an establishment in the area that does them like Snuffers does. You’ll just have to go and find out for yourself. Some of the fried chicken strips can be a little spicy, as I think they’re somehow doused with some curry. You can also ask for the non-spicy batter, which is the one they use for their mushrooms.
Their strawberry daiquiris can pack a punch sometimes, so don’t go and overindulge too much. They are tasty though!
This is the only Snuffers that I know of that stays open until 2am most of the time, so you may want to call and check if you have the hankering for some Snuffers. If you’re weirded out by the paranormal, this is the Snuffers that is allegedly haunted. I know there’s some news material out there on it if you Google around enough.
Overall I think you get a pretty good bang for your buck here, all things considered. It’s some good late night food when nothing else seems to be open.

I tried Snuffer's because it is close to the house. I'd passed it many times, and after having a horrible experience at Ozona Bar and Grill on Greenville, I decided to try a similar place. I ordered on the phone for pick up. A very nice person took my order over the phone(and even read it back to me...and called me SIR!), so that I could pick it up to go. He told me when it would be ready. I arrived at that time, and sure enough my order was ready. I spent 36 dollars total(including tip). My order included a hamburger, Chicken platter, cheesy fries, fried pickles, and a side salad. There were some difficult items specified(being that my girlfriend is annoyinly picky), and they were all done properly. The person who gave me my food was very prompt and friendly. All of the food(even as to go) was absolutely perfect. I wanted greasy, unhealthy food that tasted good. I got it. I am very pleased with Snuffers, though the atmosphere in the place was not that desirable, however I would most definately dine in and get what I pay for I'm sure. I do recommend. The food and service was very good.

Snuffer's is knwon for their cheddar fries, loaded with all the toppings chives, bacon, jalapenos, with ranch on the side. I have been recently turned onto their fried pickles! The swiss american burger is one of my favorites. there is something for everyone here!
With years of practice, the service is quick. The To go orders are fast (8 minutes @ lunch time)
The outside patio serves as a great place to people watch as it looks out onto Lower Greenville Ave.
