This is a fabulous place with a devoted following. Its been in business for a decade and has been consistently good.

Lots of customers, as Martha points out, but the upside is that the sushi is always fresh. Martha, if you hit a wait that is interminable, then head to Ino's down Campbell. Its not a pin compatible replacement -- Ino's more modest, and less sushi focused.

I liked the old location better, it was more intimate ... with the move i got the sense that the staff started to worry more about revenues. That said, the sushi is great and the decor is truly enjoyable ... how they can pull off the rows of ceramic cats is beyond me!

This is a great place to have sushi. I lived in Japan for two years and it is nice to go to a more traditional japanese sushi restaurant. No reservations so there can be a long wait!

The Magnetic Fields Quartet led by songwriter Stephen Merritt is resolutely "indie" so how come their music has been used in a Volvo commercial and appeared in the film Lemony Snicket? More info
