5/5Brisket tacos and the sauces and sitting outside and watching all the pretty people, this is part of the Taco Diner's appeal. That and the decor. The restroom doors are very interesting. Back to the tacos, these are so good--Try dripping some of the chipotle sauce on the aromatic shredded beef and taste the pleasure. After that, I recommend a margarita on the rocks to top it off. Nothing gets me in the mood for the Magnolia's art flicks like the Taco Diner.

Love love love Los Cabos salad. It is basically an avocado & chicken salad on top of a soft corn tortilla. My favorite salad in all of Dallas!

2/5The best people watching in Dallas, on the patio. It's great fun to see all the current and ex-SMU sorority girls go strutting by trying to look hot. The food is fine. Good chips and margaritas. The tacos are pretty good but aren't real big, so I end up eating too many chips. Mostly, I come here to drink and ignore the food.

2/5Yeah, it's a great patio and great people watching. But is the food that good? Who cares. You don't go to Taco Diner for a gourmet meal. You go to chill, drink some margaritas and watch the West Village douchebags strut around. The tacos are ok I guess, just kind of small and expensive. You can always fill yourself up on chips and go to Paciugo across the way for dessert.
