Texas Bar and Grill has a band that plays Friday and Saturday night called Cameleon. We followed them when they played at Tio Carlos in Irving. They're great. They play a mixture of Stevie Ray, Carlos Santana, Eagles, Tejano, and Los Lonely Boys. The only problem is they go on late after 10:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Besides that, they restaurant is kind of average - service, food, etc. They got shuffleboard and an outdoor patio where you can bring your doggies. It's kind of sad that the canal area is so depressed. I used to take the water taxi from the Xerox building to Wendys on the canal. That was so cool.

We love this place. We have only had one time where it took a while to get our refills but it was a busy night and understandable. The servers have always been friendly and fun. The band, Chamelions, are terrific. We love their music. Our friends and I come as often as we can. We always have a blast.

I was in there last Friday night with a few friends from work. It took forever to get a drink and they were not that good after waiting. The staff seemed to be in a bad mood, it really bummed us out. It was not what we hoped for on a girls' night out. You need to wake that place up with some fun....

Bravo, arebyrd54! Looks like you're taking your customers concerns seriously! Now, just make sure the rest of your staff appreciates those concerns, and you'll be just fine. I, myself, am usually a very understanding and forgiving Czar, but only for so long. I'm just worried about the potential customers you are losing.

granstar, i should be there everyday except sundays and mon nights........dang it, i can't beleive i missed you.....i usually get there around lunch time and stay until after dinner........at least...most of the time late night.......hopefully my efforts will be noticed around there. i am enjoying watching the transform to say the least.....

Hi. Thanks for leaving a message. I just tried to call on 10/27 at approx 11:40 am and an employee named Hector answered. He hung up on me the first time. The second time I called back, he said he wasn't sure if either one of you would be in today, but thought maybe Ron would be in later. Then he said he and the staff had too many things to do at the moment and that’s where the conversation ended. Please let me know a time that would be good to call back and I'll try you then.

This was absolutely one of the worst experiences I've had in a bar, restaurant, etc. I was there with one friend from approximately 8 - 10 pm on the evening of 10/13/07 and no one came to our table the whole time. Tried to call to talk to manager about the experience today during business hours on 10/14/07 and phone rang at least 50 times and no one picked up. Definitely not returning.
