Edit: Obviously good service was only when I was actually served. Pretty awful that nobody even bothered to say "I'll be with you in a moment" on my 1st visit.

3/5I've been here a couple of times.
1st of which was with a friend who recently moved to uptown. Simply wanted to test out spots within walking distance and grab a beer or two on a Sat night. We walked in, hostess seated us on the patio, and after about 15 minutes of nobody saying a word to us we hopped over to the nearby Londoner.
Keeping an open mind, agreed to meet some friends here for lunch instead of at night. Wasn't terribly thrilled with the jalapeno turkey wrap that I had, although company seemed to enjoy their meals. In a great location with good service, Doyle simply wasn't wowed.

4/5The highlight of this place is it's patio. There's not much better than spending an afternoon on the patio when it's sunny out.
I used to think the restaurant was only really there to make burgers and BLTs, but I've had dinner there recently which hasn't been bad. I had the steak not too long ago and it was great, maybe a little pricey, but very good. Another time I split a pizza with my wife and it was only so-so.

4/5Good food, good atmosphere. That kind of sums it up. This is a great place when the weather is nice and you can go out on the patio and enjoy a few drinks. The food's not bad either. The pizza and the burgers are pretty good.
This is a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy some drinks with friends, and if you get hungry the food is better than your typical bar food.

4/5Great neighborhood bar with great food. Bar menu has many good choices. Entre menu is a little pricy for a bar but everything is quite good. And they have my favorite meal in town -- "Skin On" Chicken with JalapeƱo Dumplings (drooling now). Great deck patio year round.
