5/5Great sushi bar. Sitting right in the trendy West Village. The patio is nice and airy. The service is very friendly and the food is good. The menu is large and offers many options. We got a bottle of wine and a tray of sushi for under $50 bucks!

5/5If you haven't gone to Tom Tom in the West Village your missing out! This has been my weekend place to eat, listen to great music, be seen, and get together with friends.
It gets a little busier on the weekends but the wait is not that bad. The hostess said about 20 minutes so we headed to the bar to grab some drinks. They've got this new drink called the Asian Temptation and it's so fresh.
We get to our table in less than 20 minutes and I was starved. I ordered the Wrapped Prawns as my app and it was great! The service was friendly and energetic. My meal was a number of sushi rolls. They've got this fresh cucumber roll instead of rice and paper. Great!!! I love it when the sushi chefs decorate the plates to make it look ornate; that's pride! Awesome Volcano Rolls!!!
I didn't stop there. I had to deserts. The Banana Spring rolls and Deep Fried Cheese Cake. That was the icing on the cake:-)
You got to go to Tom Tom and try it out!
Cheers!

4/5If you go I recommend grabbing a seat outside. It just seems the way to go if you're dining in West V. Overall a decent selection of beverages and food. I opted for the orange chicken which wasn't brought out in nugget form like you might expect from other venues. Nonetheless it was still pretty tasty, and everyone that I was with that opted for the sushi fare also seemed fairly well satisfied. Worth checking out every so often.

3/5A great place to hang out on the street-side patio in the West Village.
The sushi is great, but a little over priced.
California rolls are up to par, as is all of the fresh sashimi.
They offer happy hour on Thursday with $1 sushi.

4/5Not bad.
We visit many times. Most recently I meet the Australian lawyer for drinks and soup.
The sushi meets Dallas standards. Overpriced, small and overrated. Skip it and take down a sushi grade salmon filet from Central Market for 1/1000 the price.
The soups are where to go. Lahksas and Korean Spicy Soup are favorites. She routinely goes for the Lahksa while others take the rest of the menu.
The space is uber...uber, we suppose, with the usuals from Uptown. Drinks are ok, with most around the Asahi Black level. Ice tea is nice.
Service varies from excellent to terrible.
But, it's been a few years now, and the menu sorely needs a revamp. It's getting a little worn out.
