5/5Love this place because the Hunter Sullivan would played every Thursday night for the longest (wonder if he still does, actually).
Took a friend here on a night Hunter was playing for dinner. Pricey, as indicated, but well worth it. Especially the fresh guacamole made at the table. I normally don't even like guac; couldn't pass up the opportunity though - splendid.
Lots of interesting tequila combos in their margaritas. Tried one, but almost all are too fruity for any self-respecting guy to enjoy. Wasn't bad, stuck to beer afterwards though.
Make sure she's someone you want to impress, fellas - bill for 2 with only a couple of drinks each was over a Benjamin.

4/5I first dined at Trece with a friend right after they opened. We sat at the bar and shared the chicken quesadillas. Ummmmm, nothing to write home about but I knew I'd give the place another try...as is my custom.
Skip to Dec.23,2006, evening of. I brought my fam in as we were Christmas shopping just up the street. We sat down to a wonderful meal. Each of us pleased with our selections. Can't go worng when you start with house chips, salsa and the tableside guacamole.
I wanted to start with a nice Spanish wine but my selection was out, however the manager offered a more expensive subsitute for the cheaper price. A practice more restaruants in Dallas should learn. :)
I'm glad I gave Trece as second chance. I'll be back.
