At first glance, The Upper Deck seems to be a pretty neat place. I went there with a few family members of mine (young children included). It was around 1 in the afternoon, so there wasn't much of a "party crowd" in there; just a quiet lunch time group. Things were going great when our ditsy waitress came over. She was so giggly and goofy that I didn't think she would get the order right. Then we sat for what seemed like forever for our food to come out. When it finally did, it was cold. My sister in law made a joke about her cold food being free and we all laughed along...even the waitress giggled. It was obviously just a joke! We had no intention of not paying for it. When we finished eating, our ditsy waitress returned again with the goofiest look on her face. You could tell she was uncomforable and nervous. She didn't want to hand my brother the bill for some reason. She started explaining to us that she told her manager about us making a comment about the food being cold. She said he removed the item, but as a joke he had added a comment to our bill and couldn't erase it after he did it. She hands my brother the receipt and he listed as a reason for that food item being removed as "Bitchy People"...exact words right there on the receipt. I couldn't believe he would send this young girl over to explain that to us!! Meanwhile the kids at the table want to know what's going on and what can we say?? So my brother talks to this manager and he was a total idiot! He just stood there with a smug look on his face and kept shrugging his shoulders...he couldn't care less about the issue. He gave us his boss' phone # and the call was NEVER returned. I will never go back to this place again and I live about two minutes away!!
