3/5I like the atmosphere of this place - sitting on the corner of McKinney and Lemon is great people watching and the whole restaurant is practically open to the street. If you can't get a spot on the patio, no big deal as the front wall consists of big windows that are opened up. This is my 13 year olds new favorite place and her pick for birthday dinner. I got the taco plate which consists of three tacos and two small sides for about $10. The tacos are small but this plate is plenty of food for one person. The rice and cream corn were different from the norm and I would order them again. The tacos are hit and miss - I did not like the barbocoa but the pork is good and the tuna was good on a different visit. The original guacamole is fresh but sometimes has a bit too much lime. The guac trio is interesting but I prefer the traditional. I was surprised to discover on this last visit that they have no queso. They do have some fried cheese appetizers but we did not try them. Good but pricy drinks - the mojito and urban margarita were my picks.
