The Magnetic Fields Quartet led by songwriter Stephen Merritt is resolutely "indie" so how come their music has been used in a Volvo commercial and appeared in the film Lemony Snicket? More info

"Ripped Off", add me to that list.
My story is nothing new. Found a car. Agreed on the price. Papers were drawn up. Price suddenly changed! Brought to the attention of ANYONE who could possibly correct the mistake, but WAIT! It wasn't a mistake! It was intentional!! "You agreed to that price, when you signed the papers." No, I agreed to the price quoted in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper, corresponding to the stock number of this car. I still have those ads. Dealership has access to those ads (although they temporarily "could not find" the ad.) You made a mistake on the papers. You know it. You. got. caught. How many people knew about this "mistake"? Salesperson (Emmanuel Swan), Finance Managers (Michael Ruiz and Van McMullen) and New Car Sales Manager (Travis Blackwood). Even when incident was brought to the attention of New Car Director, Shannon Ashford, words were twisted, naturally, to deflect fault.
I have contacted Toyota Corporation and will do so again. I encourage anyone who has ever been taken advantage of, misled, or flat out ripped off by this company to do the same.
