4/5Good burger. Really fun ketchup. Comfy layout. Snazzy chips and salads.
Overall a definitely a good place - and since they replaced my de facto favorite burger joint, I was not the least bit predisposed to warm fuzzy new friendships.
Really glad to have 'em as a neighbor, now.

Just wondering, Jason -- how can ketchup be fun? I love me some good ketchup, but can't honestly say I've ever described it as "fun."

Looks like they mix Sriracha with standard ketchup. A guy I was with assured me it was full strength, but I remember accidentally using the straight stuff once and being knocked in the teeth.
Either my tastebuds are going as fast as my hearing and good looks or they cut it with honky ketchup to make guys like me feel macho without embarrassing us with the truth.

4/5Great vibe and unexpected in downtown Plano. Nice twists on traditional bar food. Really enjoyed brisket sammich. Friendly staff. Art is by bar manager.

Oh, fine. You make it up one block away from the theater... and can't be bothered to traipse across the park....
No, I'm ok. I'm used to media rejection. Really. ::sniffle::
Can you at least confirm the "fun" ranking of the ketchup?

Honest, Jason, I didn't know or I woulda! I was a stranger in a strange land.
Funny you mention the ketchup -- I didn't notice it really while I was there and I hadn't read your review. But driving back, I noticed the kick in the aftertaste (in a good way) and thought it good that they didn't use plain ol' catsup.

Well now ya know.
We love Vickery Park... actually all the new spots up here are enormously supportive of us - and each other.
Next time you're thrown out of VP, just stumble about 120 yards west - back towards 75 (avoiding the Haggard Park Pond), and someone will take pity on you and drag you in to the theater.
Real glad to see them added to the "Things you can't miss" roster. Much deserved.
