We got take out pho and vermicelli not too long ago because of all the raves we'd heard and loved it. I still prefer oishii's pho but its really good here too. The noodles were good too. It was a friday night and the place was dead, I don't think they are that busy on weekend nights.

The best authentic Vietnamese I've found in this part of town. When we can't head to Garland for Vietnamese, this is where we go.

I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always tasty and I'm guessing very authentic since there's never a lack of Vietnamese patrons inside.

Some unusual dishes that we really enjoy here: Frog Legs (don't knock it 'till you've tried it) are always fresh and prepared a few different ways - all delicious. Our favorite is their House sauce which is full of black pepper and LOTS of garlic. The Lotus salad is amazing. It full of shredded lotus stem, vegetables, and lots of fresh herbs and served in a wonderful sweet/spicy dressing and topped with freshly fried shrimp chips.

Unfortunately, the don't have a wide selection of Vietnamese desserts. The fruit/bean ice desserts that I tried were probably authentic, but they weren't that sweet and seemed to be made with cow's milk instead of coconut milk. Other than that, the fried banana is decent way to end a meal there.

The lunch buffet is also surprisingly good and has a nice assortment of dishes.

The atmosphere is lacking, but service is friendly. The prices are reasonable, but slightly more expensive than other authentic Vietnamese restaurants.

A favorite. Park anywhere. Mind the sidewalk.

Dishes consistently deliver. Pho the best in downtown. Noodle dishes all worth a try. One of the few places to reliably have frog on the menu, even if only conceptual for most diners.

Only place to find reasonable Vietnamese style subs anywhere near downtown.

Recently added bubble drinks, which keeps her happy.

Two disjointed rooms. Recent adds include clearer TVs for watching CNN or karaoke vids. Restrooms could stand a renovation.

Service always friendly, and any language gaps are exaggerated.

Lunch buffet surprisingly palatable and under $6.

Open for morning Pho.

Not to be missed if you like food.
