This locally-owned and operated coffee shop is a breath of fresh grounds in a Starbucks-dominated world. Great coffee, sandwiches and baked goods. Plus, frequent acoustic shows are played in the shop. (WRC was the home of TexasGigs podcasts until we got our own studio.)
Named "best cup" by the Dallas Observer. And a significant portion of this site was built under the influence of their nonfat gingerbread latte.

I've never actually been there, but they had a stand set up at the new White Rock farmers market and I bought an iced Mocha from them and it was really fantastic and refreshing! Also the two girls at the stand were so friendly to me and they told me all about the cold-brewing technique they use for the espresso and how they roast their own beans. I live in Richardson, but I'm definitely making the drive to visit there soon!

Appreciate the enthusiasm, chiptex, but you've already posted this a couple other places that made sense and the connection w/ WRC is tenuous.
Clearly something you really are passionate about: maybe you'd like to submit a guest column?
