TCUfilm, i certainly did not mean to be rude, a thousand-and-one apologies if that's the way it came across.
i did note that you posted the identical complaint on Chowhound, where a reader had the same reaction to your story that i did.
we don't usually remove comments here at Pegasus News; but do feel free to continue posting reviews of your dining experiences

4/5Telling the truth isn't the problem... The problem is that you fed your daughter food that you wouldn't eat because it was handled wrong. That's just nasty.

Teresa, I do not appreciate your critique of me. Does Pegasus News pay you to troll the website and be blatently rude to your readers or do you do that in your free time because you have nowhere positive to focus your energy? If you don't like my review, take it down. But please do not ridicule me for telling the truth about an unpleasant experience.

TCUfilm, i guess i'm somewhat surprised that a parent would take a burger that he or she found to be repulsive because it had been "finger-handled" -- and then feed it to their daughter

1/5I attempted to dine at Who's Who Burgers today in Highland Park Village. It was a horrible experience.
I ordered a burger well done. It was served pink on the inside. I told the girl working the counter it was not cooked well-done. She asked if I wanted a new burger or if I wanted them to continue to cook the first burger. I told her the first burger would be fine. The chef scraped the cheese off and put it back on the grill... Then he continuously picked it up and fingered it to check it's status. They then gave me the re-heated / finger handled burger. I returned to my table disgusted and gave the burger to my daughter.
I decided this really was not right and told the girl at the counter I wanted my money back... She went away for a moment, I assumed to get the manager but in fact she walked over to where we were sitting and took the uneaten burger away from my daughter. She simply marched over, picked it up and said, "I have to take this, your mother wants her money back." Then she gave my daughter the money back.
I am simply appalled. It truly was the most disturbing restaurant experience I have ever had. And at an eatery in Highland Park Village! These people should be ashamed of themselves!
I asked who the manager was and she handed me a business card and said he would be in on Wednesday... Their website says "having Rudy Rodriguez as General Manager, who affords and GREAT SERVICE and ATTENTION to your needs." Unfortunately Phil Romano is sadly mistaken. This restaurant fails miserably!

3/5Tried this place for the first time last night as my bride and I ventured down to the Highland Park Village for a movie. Had a Kobe beef burger -- couldn't tell a huge difference between it and any other burger I've ever had. This one actually fell apart a bit, which made the already messy burger even messier. Fries were great, but reminded me of other similar fries I've had elsewhere. It was fun to try once and to now say I've had a Kobe beef burger, but I won't make an extraordinary effort to go back again.
