GWAR / Kingdom of Sorrow / Toxic Holocaust Only lead singer Oderus Urungus (aka Dave Brockie) has stuck around since GWAR's start 23 years ago, but the huge costumes, raunchy and obscene lyrics, and fluids spraying into the audience are sure to be on full display as the metal band makes its return to Dallas. Bailey's is another of the many "Point" sports bar/restaurants in the area. For those who don't remember, they had been around for years but were moved out of their digs by Central Market on Lovers Lane. Not that I'm complaining! Everything you've heard about their burgers is true! They are well seasoned, juicy and HUGE 3/4 lb but cut in half to be manageable with one hand. This leaves the other hand free to scarf those tasty hand cut cottage fries and the delectable chili cartillas peppers. Ask for extra peppers as they are addictive. Like most of the other "Points", Baileys is frequented by neighborhood locals. If you're not in the Mockingbird Abrams area no need to flush gallons of gas, you can get the same burgers at any of the other "Points" including Addison Point (Beltline), Midway Point (Midway/LBJ) Northpointe Greenville between Forest and LBJ, Maple Point (Maple/Butler) or the Point West (NW Hwy west of 35E). There's some kind of Point in Old Town Village I haven't checked out so I don't know if it's part of the family. Have a burger at any of these places and you'll get the Point!

WOW, bailey's 1st & 10 has the largest Hamburger in town. The french fries are unlike any place else. Bailey's has daily dinner specials. I popped in one night when it was all you can eat fried catfish.. Man was it packed! The comfortable horseshoe shaped bar makes Bailey's a good place for watching sports.
