Ghostland Observatory Yes, they play here a lot because they are from Austin. No, that doesn't mean you can't see them again. Of course they will be back, but is that any excuse to not check out what some call the best live act this side of I-10? Didn't think so. "image by: Dániel Perlaky" '06 More info

Good stuff - fast service, good food, and very reasonably priced. I had the yellow curry, drank water and skipped dessert (which I shouldn't have, I tried someone else's and it was great), and it was only $8.60. Next time I'll try to get something spicier.
The only complaint is that it's really damn cold if you're sitting on the side of the restaurant with the little box A/C unit.

Went for lunch yesterday with coworkers and was amazed.
Ordered the red curry. They've got a spice range of 1-4...I played it safe with a 2 just to be sure I wasn't making a huge mistake as the n00b, and it was extremely tasty. Will probably try 3 next go around, but apparently 4 is only for peeps who grew up in Thailand (or have no taste buds).
I got water, but soft drinks or iced tea are $1.50 - I forgot to check how much hot teas are. My curry was $7.95 + tax (would have been $9.95 for a dinner portion). Reasonably priced for the portion and tastiness, imo.
Can't knock the hustle at all - drinks stayed full, soup came out very soon after we ordered, and plates were bused quickly.
As Peter said, not that big of a place. I only docked on Vibe since there seemed to be odd looks from other regulars that we had a fresh face in our group. I live relatively near here and never knew it existed - seems to be primarily word of mouth advertising, which explains things. Place was packed, though...definitely need to cut out a bit early at lunchtime.
Will be heading back many times, methinks. If only they delivered!

Noodle Wave is very good -- our office group lunches there at least once a week. It's typically very busy at lunch time, so prepare to wait if you hit the height of the lunch hour.
Be warned that it's closed on Mondays (contrary to the hours listed above), and the small map above isn't right, though the address is correct (and bringing up the larger map is also correct).

Stopped in during the week and not a table in sight. This is obviously a very popular little Mom and Pop and they treat the customers well. They have a little sitting area if your waits going to be too long. A nice place to chit chat on a first date. The food is traditional thai. A variety of items on the menu from the traditional noodle dishes to the Thai fried rice (to die for) The folks are very nice but the wait can take a bit - normal Dallas.
