I agree with red. The place is three or four minutes from my house. I don't cook, love Italian food, am pretty easygoing, cheap, support independent businesses every chance I get, and yet have only been there twice. This is because it is truly abysmal. If you want Olive Garden quality food served to you by a surly Albanian at top prices, washed down with a glass of cheap wine open for days, by all means go. Why in Fort Worth we have such loyalty to the place, I don't know. Our problem, however, as a city, is that there is nothing between La Piazza and Fortuna quality and price-wise. Its either Albanian red sauce joints at ten bucks a head, or Bella West at about a gajillion. My rant is over now.

We went tonight and were VERY, VERY,VERY DISAPPOINTED. Their A.C. was not working for starters and instead of kindly informing customers they did nothing and it was HOT. They cleared our salads out from underneath us and with full mouths we could not say anything as they walked away so abruptly. The food was not all that tasty. I ordered Chicken Fontana (I think it was called) and the Chicked was VERY DRY. We were not even fully ejected from our seats and away from the table and they were rushing us out the door. Removed our highchair before our son was fully out of it. I called the Manager afterwards and expressed my dissatisfaction and he seemed TO CARE LESS!! We will NOT return and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I'm sure there are PLENTY other Italian restaurants in the area better than this and Macaroni Grill is 10 times better anyway not to mention Olive Garden etc.

This is an elegant, well-run full service Italian restaurant. Bread with olive oil, pastas, pizzas, all with impeccable service. I had lasagne...cheesy wonderful. This tiny place is on the way to Stonebriar Mall it has certainly earned a spot on my map. Prices were surprising low in my opinion.
