UPDATED: Duncanville home-based sex club may lead to new city ordinance

Since there's nothing currently on the books that the city of Duncanville can do to oust the operators of The Cherry Pit from the residence where they - um - operate, city officials will meet today (Nov. 6) to discuss a proposed ordinance that would rule "the operation of a sex club as unlawful and a public nuisance...".

Seems it's currently quite lawful for people to operate a sex club from a private residence, as long as they're not charging their club visitors for - um - services.

UPDATE: The Duncanville City Council voted on Tuesday to shut The Cherry Pit down. Owner Jim Trulock remains defiant, pledging to take the case the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary and declaring the council "won't stop me from having sex in my house."

So what, they'll make it illegal to have sex with people you're only an acquaintance of, unless you meet them in a bar or church?

The "club" should be investigated for sex discrimination and prostitution: According to their website women get in free, and men pay a $50.00 "donation".
