Friday:
- Reflection Fine Art is having a special Champagne Reception for their Friday Night Gallery Series celebrating JD Miller's "Mirage and Minimalist Series."
- The Aqua Lounge in Fort Worth is hosting a Night of Art with Sonia Semone.
- There is a reading with Dagoberto Gil (the editor of Hecho en Tejas: An Anthology of Texas- Mexican Literature) at the Latino Cultural Center.
- Defining the West is opening at Gerald Peters.
Satruday:
- The MAC is having an opening reception for three new exhibits, featuring the artwork of David Dreyer, David H. Gibson and David Eugene Everett. Huh, three David's. Think that's a coincidence?
- Art and science is combined at Valley House Gallery as artist Tracy Hicks discusses his "Global Warming" exhibit.
- Kittrell/Riffkind is opening a new Featured Artist Series with all kinds of new glass pieces and jewelry.
- Palace does Dallas opens this weekend at Road Agent, featuring an ongoing exchange with acclaimed Austin gallery Art Palace.
- and/or is opening the Marisa Olson / Christine Gedeon show.
- Andrea Rosenberg's 11 large works on paper will open Saturday at Barry Whistler.
- "How Else Can I Say This?" featuring a menagerie of new works by Sarah Maxwell English and David Willburn opens at 500X.
