Can Jones chase down and devour the ghosts of his past?

— According to this story in the Dallas Morning News, it appears that the Dallas Cowboys may be interested in trading a late-round draft pick for oft-troubled Tennessee cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones. While not naming their "source" --likely it was 1310 The Ticket, which discussed this rumor the previous afternoon-- the Cowboys are known to be in the market for a cornerback after a rash of defections in their secondary has left the defensive cupboard looking bare.

With Keith Davis in Miami and Jacques Reeves in Houston, the addition of Jones would help tremendously --provided his off-field brushes with the law are a thing of the past. The cornerback has been in several altercations, most notably at strip clubs, and was suspended by Discipline Czar Roger Goodell for the entire 2007 season.

When on the field, Jones is a game-breaking corner and among the league's elite kick returners. In 2006, Jones had four interceptions, as well as three kicks returned for touchdowns.
