— Dallas-based market research firm Parks Associates released a study that shows 40% of consumers are likely to use their tax rebate to purchase consumer electronics products, but 42% cite concerns about the country’s economic conditions as a factor to not purchase consumer electronics products this year. Considering we're in a credit crunch because Americans typically racka financial disciprine, gotta say that running out and buying more toys isn't the best idea.

Peeps in Asia who manufacture those electronics will effectively take our rebates and save 'em themselves. Sign of things to come, mayhaps?
