Lancaster may have its first African-American mayor

— Among local races that stand to be decided May 10, Lancaster may have its first black mayor, and Duncanville's council, which is frequently divided 4-3, may see a shift in power. Brian Allen of Best Southwest Citizen discussed these races during Pegasus News on the Tube.

Lancaster may have its first African-American mayor

Early voting continues through Tuesday; election day is Saturday.

Brian, could you please explain for us under what unusual circumstances it might turn out that Lancaster will NOT elect a black mayor this year?

Hey, in Lanc there's no guarantee that 600 people won't go to the polls and write in "Tillotson."
