"Um... can I get anchovies with those small bills?"

When Stephanie Martinez went to work behind the counter at Pizza Patron in Denton, she had no idea (according to police) that her husband, along with her parents (!), would be holding her up at work later that day.

Seems her Dad (Benjamin Ramirez) lost his wig and sunglass disguise when another clerk knocked him down. At which point Stephanie realized who it was that was robbing her restaurant.

As noted in the original story, citizens assisted police in the capture of the suspects.

Can you make that to go, please?

The family that robs together, uh... well..

"He knew they were going to rob someplace but he thought it was going to be a convenience store."

Doesn't it seem like a basic first step to plan robberies out, and at least know who it is you're going to rob?

Well, not when you're trying to make a good impression on your in-laws!

Mugshots are generally funny in the first place - but I think they should also take mugshots with the disguises on as well. You know, just to see if anyone recognizes that person from any other crimes. I think that would be a great public service (and infinitely more hilarious).

At least the family affair ended better than it did here.
