— The Flower Mound, Highland Village, and Lewisville Police Departments are seeking the public’s help in catching an aggravated robbery suspect targeting local pharmacies. Five pharmacies have been robbed since March 12 in all three municipalities, with the most recent situation occurring Thursday, July 17 in Flower Mound. A detailed description of each robbery and suspect information is listed below.

• March 12 - Flower Mound Pharmacy located at 1001 FM 1171 in Flower Mound was robbed at approximately 11 a.m. The suspect was described by witnesses as a white male in his mid 20s, approximately 5’9” in height and weighing roughly 175 pounds. He appeared to have short brown hair with a clean shaven round face and was wearing wire-framed, rectangular glasses. The suspect wore a camouflage baseball hat and jacket, as well as red/white cloth gloves and grayish/brown pants. The suspect left in a silver, 2-door sports coupe that was possibly a Toyota Celica with stolen license plates. The vehicle was equipped with a factory spoiler on the rear trunk, and the windows were not tinted. The suspect handed a note to the employee behind the pharmacy counter which stated he had a gun and not to call the police. The suspect partially displayed the hand gun without pulling it completely out of his jacket. The note demanded a variety of narcotics.

• May 21 - The Walgreens located at 1103 West FM 3040 in Lewisville was robbed at approximately 9:40 a.m. The store video and witnesses indicated a similar suspect, suspect vehicle, and note.

• June 29 - The Walgreens located at 2360 Justin Road in Highland Village was robbed at approximately 1:49 p.m. Store video indicates a suspect of similar physical description and note. There was no vehicle description obtained.

• July 10 - The Walgreens located at 1101 FM 1171 in Flower Mound was robbed at approximately 7:34 p.m. Officers arrived less than one minute after being dispatched, but the suspect had already fled the scene. Witnesses described the vehicle as a silver Toyota Celica and were able to record the license plate, which was reported stolen out of Lewisville.

• July 17 - The CVS pharmacy at 1100 Flower Mound Road in Flower Mound was robbed at approximately 4:02 P.M. The suspect was described as wearing a dark hat, sunglasses, black jacket and gloves. He again presented a note and displayed a firearm tucked into the front of his waistband. The car was described as being a silver two door sports coupe bearing Texas license plate 542-NRY.

Members of the public possessing information related to these robberies are requested to call the Flower Mound Police Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 972-874-3307.

We had a comment from someone who learned that they can not comment publicly on the case at this time. We don't remove comments lightly, but decided it was the right thing to do in this case.

Will pictures and video of this most recent robbery be released? I've looked on all news websites and am not seeing anything. Are we sure this is the same guy?

sobo, the methods and vehicle seem to be similar enough to convince the denton county police departments that it's the same guy, but i guess "we" don't know anything

Did not mean to insinuate anything, the witness testimony is of course enough to say it is the same guy. I was just curious when pictures of video would be released.

I had to run into one of the pharmacies last weekend. A guy there was talking about the robber and he suggested that at that time the robber hit 5 pharmacies, including a CVS in Carrolton or Coppell. I have been reading all reports on this and that was the first I heard of it. Yesterday I see he hit again and that makes it 5. Just curious, since there were no pictures that I could see.

And different reports report different descriptions. Some say dirty blond/brown hair, others say red. Some say 150 lbs, others say 175. Just curious if there were pictures or video. Did not mean to tell you or insinuate you, the staff, did not know anything. Clearly you do, you're one of the few media outlets I can find information. In fact, last weekend, I saw this website had most of the well reported and structured news. I could find everything about this case here. Thanks.
