The Shock of Pleasure was created by singer/songwriter Robert Romano of Stranger than Fiction along with veteran drummer Brent Irish and bassist Shelley Gaither. Kelley Christian became the featured vocalist in 2005. Kelley is also a model and actress in the DFW area.
The Shock combines trip-hop and down-tempo music to create an eclectic mix of musicians and sound. The band plays electro-lounge music in a rare live setting.
