In December 2005, the Feds released their self-titled CD - the first since 2003's From Hell To Breakfast, which was never officially released because of a record label dispute. Now the band doesn't have to sell burned copies from the back of their van.
In 2004, the Feds won the local, regional and national categories of the Rolling Rock Town Fair Five competition, which featured more than 4,000 bands. That earned them a performance in front of 30,000 in Latrobe, Pa., sharing the stage with Velvet Revolver, Staind, Disturbed, Hoobastank, Finch and Sevendust. After returning to Texas for a Dallas date of the Warped Tour, The Feds beat out more than 8,000 bands from across America in the Ernie Ball battle of the bands. They won $25,000 in merchandise and a spot on the 2005 Warped Tour.

Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info
