The Gala will honor ten Collin County Good Samaritans with an awards ceremony, dinner, live and silent auctions, and music by the Cross Timbers Youth Orchestra. Auctioneer Rene Bates will help the Samaritan Inn continue its worthy programs with the auction of a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle; vacation packages in Maui, HI and Aspen, CO; certified Masters flags signed by Tiger Woods, and more.
Tickets to the Gala are now available: $100 per person or tables of 10 for $1000. Corporate sponsorships are being sought at levels from $500 - $5000 and include media, web, and event publicity and free tickets. West Fest Polka Festival Westfest kicks off the weekend Friday evening with the Miss Westfest Contest. Gates to the fairground (in West, Texas, south on I-35 just beyond Hillsboro) open at 5:30 p.m., and you can hang out touring the food booths until the 12:30 a.m. closing.
