I bet getting a sex change is kinda like when you "just gotta have that new car" or you "just gotta date that special person", but then you get it, and after a while, the thrill wears off, and then you want something else.
I saw a documentary about sex change operations and one of the doctors interviewed actually said "Many of my clients are not very satisfied with the vaginas that I consruct for them."

How in the world was that "off topic?" It was about "something" that happened outside a state council convened to deal with poverty and black crime. I will grant you that it did not happen in Texas but please do not try to tell me that it is "off topic", and if you are going to actually attempt to claim "off topic" status then please give a detailed explanation as to why this is the case.

Dylan, I do not see where you have indicated any "cofactors" other than "poverty causes crime", which is in dispute. I think immorality causes crime, not poverty. Also, I wonder what is the "proper conclusion" to which you refer.

The stats serve a good purpose. They wake people up to the reality of the crime situation in the USA. That is a good use of the numbers. You cannot solve a problem if you are unaware that it even exists.

Yes, I am sure many ignornat whites behaved stupidly towards the Vietnamese fishermen. I am sure many Vienamese have behaved in a bad way too. However, the story only proves that hard work and perseverance, not crime and making excuses, are the keys to success.

Vietnam and Cambodia experienced devastating wars that ensalved or killed millions. Many poor "Boat People" came to the USA without any money and without speaking English, yet many of them have become very successful business owners because of their own hard work and efforts. If poverty causes crime, then why is that the case?

Dylan, you have it backwards. If there are "way more whites than blacks", then the stats PROVE that blacks actually commit far more crimes. Blacks make up ONLY about 12% of the population (11.7 % of Texas population) but commit a disproportionate amount of the crimes. It is a matter of proportionality.
Also, if someone has been convicted of a violent felony such as rape, murder, robbery, or aggravated assault, then in my opinion they should either be imprisioned for life or executed.
Also, according to the DOJ and many Police Departments, "Hispanics" or "Latinos" are unfairly counted in the "White" category, which raises the "white crime rate" even more.

According to the latest US Department of Justice survey of crime victims, more than 6.6 million violent crimes (murder, rape, assaultand robbery) are committed in the US each year, of which about 20 per cent,or 1.3 million, are inter-racial crimes.
Most victims of race crime -- about 90 per cent -- are white, according to the survey "Highlights From 20 Years of Surveying Crime Victims," published in 1993. [Abe's note: it has gotten worse since 1993]
Almost 1 million white Americans were murdered, robbed, assaulted or rapedby black Americans in 1992, compared with about 132,000 blacks who weremurdered, robbed, assaulted or raped by whites, according to the same survey.
Blacks thus committed 7.5 times more violent inter-racial crimes than whites even though the black population is only one-seventh the size of the white population. When these figures are adjusted on a per capita basis,they reveal an extraordinary disparity: blacks are committing more than 50 times the violent racial crimes of whites.
According to the latest annual report on murder by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, most inter-racial murders involve black assailants and white victims, with blacks murdering whites at 18 times the rate that whites murder blacks.

OK, here goes another attempt, without reference to IQ and with an attempt to avoid offence:
How can poverty explain the phenomenon of rape? Rape can only be considered a product of poverty if women are considered to be "property" or "merchandise" and that men are compelled to rape them because they are impoverished, not criminal scumbags.

Why were my comments regarding the relatively low criminality amongst the poor Vietnamese and Cambodians who came to the US deleted? Why was my comment proving that "skin color" is not the issue deleted? They were factual and not obnoxious and insulted no one.

Which name calling are you referring to, Dylan? Me calling Sanders a "whiney liberal" or Sanders calling me a "racist", or both?
All I have ever done is "look at the available evidence", which is exactly what you suggest. Here is some "available evidence" for your edification:

But "WAAAAAH WAAAAAH", I am a "racist" if I take these SOLID FACTS into account when trying to keep myself and my family safe.
Personally, I have been violently attacked by black men 5 times in my life, one stabbing attack almost killing me. These were just random violence attacks, and only one of the attacks was any kind of "robbery", and it was an unsuccessful robbery at that, due to the robber's STUPIDITY.
I would have to be a naive idiot to not take into consideration my own personal experience coupled with the FACTS about the EPIDEMIC LEVELS OF BLACK MALE CRIME.
If I am actually a "racist" instead of a "realist", then I am a "racist" ONLY because the obnoxious, violent, criminal behaviour that I have personally experienced from Black Males has made me "racist". I was not raised to be a "racist". Black men made me one.
It was only AFTER being attacked 5 times that I woke up and became aware of the FACTS about the massive amounts of "Black Male Crime", as cited above.
Why don't YOU take an HONEST LOOK at "the available evidence".

I have read your posts, Sanders.
If you are a conservative Republican, I am the Dictator of the Universe. All I have ever done is quote facts from the Justice Department about the relationships that various races have with crime. If that is racist then the LIFE ITSELF is racist.... hmmm, maybe it actually is! Waaaaaaah! Pit Bulls and Golden Retreivers are supposedly almost exactly the same genetically, but I would much rather leave my baby in a room full of hungry Golden Retreivers than in a room full of hungry Pit Bulls.
Oh, that is SO RACIST against Pit Bulls!!!!! -

I think it is great that you identified the races of all involved, victims and perps, and you should do that for EVERY story involving crimes, no matter what the race. It is just more factual information to keep the public fully aware and safe. For once, at least in part, I agree with that whiney liberal Sanders Kaufman.
Fun fact: Blacks are only 11.7% of the population of Texas but they account for 40.9% of those on death row. -

I have no conspiracy theories and I am not too concerned with what happens to pretty blonde 9 year olds in Portugal. I am more concerned with the safety of people in the Dallas-Fort Worth area because that is where I live. That is what is relevant to me. I am concerned about the safety of the woman in the crime-scene photo. I don't care whether she is black, asian, white, whatever. She was robbed by a criminal with a gun who is still at-large. Portugal is a long way away. Arlington is right around the corner. That is what is "relevant to me personally". Maybe you have never been attacked by a robber or some other kind of violent attacker before, but I have been attacked violently 5 times in my life by this type of chap so yes, it is very very "relevant to me personally". You seem more concerned about what is going on in Portugal than what is happening to your own neighbors in our area.

Wow, this story disappeared from your front page pretty fast after the above comments. I wonder why? People need to know about the "Elmer Fudd robber"! He is still at large! Don't you want people to be on the alert for the "Elmer Fudd robber" anymore? Or does the fact that he does not actually look like "Elmer Fudd" have anything to do with it? Someone could be killed by this comical funny-hatted armed robber! Put it back up on the front page!! It is a matter of PUBLIC SAFETY.

His race is much more relevant and significant than his hat. As a matter of public safety, people should be searching for a black man, not an Elmer Fudd hat. I am not a betting man (I think it is immoral) but I would be willing to bet $10 that the Elmer Fudd hat was thrown in a dumpster almost immediately after the robbery. This guy might be dumb, but I doubt he is dumb enough to carry his distinctive disguise around with him after it has been published all over the country. I guess you can always hope that he cannot read, so he does not get tipped off that people are looking for his had... there is actually a pretty good chance of that he can't read.

Thanks for your reply. My concern is that it is a matter of public safety. The race of ALL suspects should be mentioned in ALL crime stories, if at all possible.
You see, many criminals wear these clever and tricky things called "disguises" when they are in the process of committing a crime. The most ingenious thing about this "disguise" technique is that the criminal REMOVES THE "DISGUISE" shortly after the crime has been committed. I know, I know, this "disguise" thing, it sounds so far-fetched, like something out of Science Fiction, but it actually happens ALL THE TIME! AMAZING! -

It is getting so bad that now when I read about a crime in the newspaper I usually go straight to the local PD's website so I can get a REAL AND ACCURATE description of the criminal.
