Proposition One victory reinforces my decision to move to Dallas
Spoken like a person who believes that he/she won’t have to pay the price. The vote yea people are really quite foolish.

May 9 elections on the horizon, Obama not on ballot
Unlike you Mari, you little Democrat activist you, I live in Duncanville and advise everyone to vote for Dorothy Burton, Anthony Skinner and Gerald Hill.
It's time to end the senseless bickering and very rude name calling and join the council together as a team to get Duncanville through these tough times.
By the way, Mari, are you still planning to run as a Democrat for Justice of the Peace in Dallas County District 4?
Is that what you are "helping" your democrat pals in Duncanville?

Duncanville City Councilman Paul Ford hospitalized during council meeting
I saw the video and still don't understand the problem.
The other council members are fine but you can see Paul Ford tense up as Green reads the statement.
It's like a red flag in front of a raging bull.
Later in the meeting, the other members decided to obey the rules but Paul Ford clearly makes the decision get himself arrested.
Why?
What is the point?
Why can't Paul Ford obey the rules like everyone else?
Is Paul Ford completly sane?

Preview: Dallas County School Board election
I like Homer.
He's smart, funny and is neither an incumbent nor a political climber. He’s really interested in the job and I believe he’ll focus on doing it and nothing else.
But most of all, he’s not a lawyer.

Duncanville City Councilman Paul Ford hospitalized during council meeting
Why can't the guy just obey the rules like everyone else?
Life does not revolve around one person - not even in Duncanville.

I'm with you Scott.
The whole thing is a commie scam.

Duncanville Councilman Ford starts petition to ban red light cameras
He's just a busy guy, that Paul Ford, wanting the voters to be informed so they can hold their politicians accountable.
my hero

Local lawmakers concerned with youth’s health, education, safety
How does the "Top 10" policy hamper diversity? Are you saying the "diverse" are not smart enough to make the cut?
The rationale for this stupid law is absurd

Duncanville City Council loves its red light cameras
Alex B leaves off the part of the story where the City Council does not have the option to grant a jury trial to scoff laws that run red lights In Duncanville.
STATE LAW GOVERNS DUFUS.
The City Manager was quoting TxDOT traffic statistics - not pulling them out of his rectum like the "author" is doing with this "story"...

Effort to name Duncanville park after community leader thwarted
Jameson is also in charge of the district that sprouted Duncanville's famous Cherry Pit and everyone knows how she handled that situation.
Historically, her logic has been profoundly self-referential.
You can’t negate that either.

Texas State Legislature may ban straight ticket voting
Lupe Valdez is a product of the straight ticket vote. If you think she's a great sheriff then you should probably affirm the current arrangement.

Protests against Defense of Marriage Act set for Dallas and Denton
My experience tells me that there are many people in the community who back this movment because they would become political persona non grata if they didn't.
It's all crap.
The universal adhesive that holds the GLBT experience in place isn't the struggle for marital love and fidelity at all. It's flat out hedonistic, taboo, sexual conduct that informs the white hot center and it always will be.
In my view, "marriage" of any kind kills the thrill.

Building looks pretty nice from the outside, but they don't seem proactive as they never replied to my email asking about Happy Hour!
