Our first visit. We went for an early dinner on the way to a nearby event. The service was great, and food was quite good. The patio looked very inviting, but the weather didn't allow us to try it. The menu was a bit limited, and then they were "out of" the first pasta selection we made; so it was even more limited than it appeared. We will probably go there again.

We have relied on Alfredo's for years to be a "safe" place to take out of town guests, schedule a celebration dinner with friends, recommend for a co-worker's birthday lunch, etc. The food is usually quite good for the price point; and the service (with very rare exceptions) is most attentive and personal. It is obvious that there are many very regular guests, creating a neighborhood feel; but the decor and style is definitely quite a few levels above "Cheers".

All reveiws and information I had seen prior to going there indicated this would be really special. The prices on the menu were appropriate for a really special meal, too. It was far from stellar. Our waitperson was sweet but rushed - think a great diner during the lunch rush. Except the place isn't a diner, it was around 7 PM on a Saturday night, we had reservations, etc. Our server gave glorious kudos about the excellence of the entree I selected, but was back soon after to report they were out of it - quick, quick; make another selection. The food was OK, but for that price I expect better than OK.

Awful, awful, awful!!!
We ordered take out from this place. It was delivered very promptly; almost too quickly - and it epitomized awful.
Just as an example, one of the dishes ordered was "sweet and sour chicken". We got fried breaded chicken pieces in a container with raw onion and raw bell pepper pieces. On the side was a container of bland and flavorless pink/red colored sauce.
Never again. We have affixed the take out menu to the side of the fridge with large black XXX's and "no,no,no" so that we never forget that we don't want to order anything from this establishment ever again.
