    Restaurant review: Swiss Pastry Shop prepares new-old-fashioned delicacies

    Went one time after hearing rave reviews. Yuck! Not only was the place dirty and grungy looking, one of the employees didn't wash her hands in the restroom and the front counter was swarming with flies. They were all over the pastries that were on the counter as well as some that were trapped in the display cases.

    UPDATED with review: Lines were mighty long for Gourmet Food Truck Festival in Dallas (August 27)

    We went and almost decided to leave empty handed because of the heat and lines, but we decided to just grab an ice cream and boy we were glad we did. It was super yummy. I will have to mention how disgusted I was with the idiots who brought their dogs. On top of the obvious trauma most dogs experience with being in large groups of people all around, IT WAS HOT PEOPLE! IF YOU WOULDN'T WALK BARE FOOT ON THE PAVEMENT, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOUR POOR DOGS ARE OK TO DO IT?! Dummies :(
