Lost Cocker Spaniel at Marsh and Valley View
OKAY. follks, listen up. Anna is not my dog and I do not know her family; BUT, someone, somewhere knows the whereabouts of Miss Anna. The poor dog needs to be back with her family. If you have Anna, do the right thing and return her to her rightful owner. If you do not have her, then keep a close eye out for her. If good citizens apply themselves to this problem, we can help Anna and her family. Please just try. Thanks from a Pegasus reader.

Two local high school quarterbacks changing teams
Is there any reliable information available on the status of Mrs. Hernandez' appeal? Is there reliable information available on the hiring of a new head football coach for Coppell? Has anyone recently interviewed Director Crawford or Mrs. Hernandez concerning this subject?

Dallas father shoots daughter's boyfriend
Trespassing on someone's property and physically attacking members of the family? Unhealthful activity.

Woman sentenced to two years probation in Euless bowling alley murder
I did not attend the trial, so I will go with the jury. BUT,what was/were the issue/s (drugs/prostitution) that brought things to a death is the solution decision? I have not seen an in-depth, even-handed, well presented writing that examines this case. Perhaps we will see more print information.

Woman sentenced to two years probation in Euless bowling alley murder
Comment/viewpoint/opinion/right/wrong? Who is to say? I did not attend the trial, so I have no testimony on which to base a conclusion. However, It seems to me there are very few people beaten, knifed or shot while attending church. There are reports from time to time of male church officials (referred to as pedophiles, not homosexuals) sexually molesting young boys. Again, not much testimony available; BUT, twould appear: ONE SHOULD ALWAYS BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE COMPANY ONE KEEPS. Swim with the goldfish, not the sharks, or just stay out of the water.

SMU's Ford Stadium to be the site for the Southlake Carroll vs. Miami Northwestern game
This seems to me to be one terrific idea. It probably doesn't mean much in terms of comparisons, but twill be (I hope) a fun game for players and fans. If I read your blurb correctly, Miami Northwestern will play their Spring game against another school inter instead of intra? Guess they have different rules; BUT, I hope their age limits are close to ours. Twould not be good for the Dragons' health to be going against a bunch of 22-year-olds. However, thorough folks that your news people are, I am sure you will keep us posted on such mundane matters. Different subject: Coppell seems unusually quiet and non-talkative about their job search to replace Fuller. Speak to us, Mr. Crawford. We are listening.

A message to Farmers Branch: There are higher values than being "law-abiding"
There are exceptions to the reasoning behind every law/rule/regulation, but the foundation for civilized living is law-abiding, self-sustaining citizenry. There will always be arguments/excuses/reasons to justify individual acts of lawlessness, but they are pointless for at least two reasons. One, people who feel strongly about an issue usually have their minds made up and talking will change nothing (for instance, I am set that the tenants of 'law-abiding, self-sustaining' are fundamental to civility), and two, any discussion of the basic principles is thus a waste of time. Our country has been going downhill since the frivolity of the mid-fifties,and the silliness of the sixties and seventies. In my mind, my most important posssesion/right is the right to vote within the laws which govern our voting system. Voter fraud should carry the death penalty and/or life imprisonmemt. If the illegal aliens don't like their country/government, let them have a revolution and change things. My paternal grandfather once told me that 'hard-headed' was when someone disagreed with you and would not admit that you were right. He also told me that I should always be alert so that I would never, ever miss an opportunity to just not say anything. He was right, of course, but I am going to slubmit this anyway.

Coppell football coach expected to take job at Colleyville Heritage
The late-date timing intrigues me. Cunningham had troubles with players taking steroids. Fuller was accused to recruiting the Flower Mound QB. The availability of the Prestonwood job appears to have been the hole in the dyke. In any case, the Pegasus News folks wil, in time, obtain the story and give the information to us.
