This game set a Texas soccer attendance record. The previous record was 70,550 for Mexico City's Club America at Relient Stadium in 2006.

As the DMN points out, Club America happens to be playing Chelsea FC this coming weekend at Cowboys Stadium in the World Football Challenge match.
