Updated: Public hearing on Fort Worth gas drilling recommendations to take place Nov. 20
The meeting was hijacked as hundreds of employees of gas companies (perhaps one in particular, don't know) packed the venue. They said they were not Fort Worth residents but were just interested in the ordinance. As a result there was no room for citizens of Fort Worth to attend. I left before anything got underway, if it ever did.

Energy Way? HaHaHa HaHa Ha! Like changing back to "Summit" wouldn't be good enough? "Cow Town" is on its way to being "Clown Town" at this rate. Oh well, at least it's funny!

We ARE a slightly hip little town. But we are also people who would never imagine being sold out by their elected officials.

I find Lisa's perspective to be quite Christian, although she certainly does not need justification from either of us. I share her desire that our faith not be entangled with politics (that old render unto Caesar thing). It is to protect the faith.
I would only add my own view that a shrine to the most anti-intellectual president we have ever seen should be built far from any institution of higher learning. I would like to propose an alternate site but it would be too insulting to any category I might choose.
