Brent Best~ Starhead~ A reading by Jason Ashbaugh~ Plus Special Guests Wally Campbell, Michael Constantine McConnell & Ashley Cromeens!!!
This is going to be a great show! Starhead has been turning heads and this will be my first time to see them. Wallace Campbell, former bassist and vocalist for Pinebox, will no doubt honor the crowd with the song he wrote for the band, "Town Drunk"! (http://www.pineboxserenade.com/music....) Brent Best (Drams) is an incredible vocalist that I could listen to all night! MC McConnell is a gifted writer as well as performer and always gives that something special to every project with which he is connected. I am always stunned when I hear Ashley Cromeens step out of her hard, grunge rock sound of Record Hop to thrill me with her sweet voice. I have no idea what she will be doing at the show but that alone is worth the drive to Denton.

Guess what? It's time for Lumberjack Fest III.

The Drams
The Drams are becoming one of my favorite bands. Usually bands tend to have either character or charisma. Character being the quality of their music, and charisma being their stage presence. With the Drams you get both which makes them a pleasure to watch and hear. Two Thumbs Up!

I'm sure this will suck but not because it's outside. I've seen great shows outside and sticky bars need to be wiped down. If a performer can't perform outside then they suck.

Pinebox Serenade
Pinebox Serenade has finished recording their second album at the home studio of Brent Best (Slobberbone ~ The Drams). Special Guests include George Neal, Michael McConnell & J.Paul Slavens! From the one session I was able to sit in on, this new album should prove to be even better than the first! I am totally excited about the new tracks! Mixing then Mastering going on but it looks like Dec. or Jan. before it gets released. Pinebox has finally updated their website @ http://www.pineboxserenade.com/home.html where you can check them out for yourself if you haven't seen them yet.
