"...incinerate our children"? Oh puhlease. If anything has, "elevated our sense of anxiety and hopelessness" it is baseless fear-mongering like this post.
If you have a link to a peer-reviewed scientific study showing that a properly operated gas well emits proven carcinogens at a level harmful to humans, please post it.
If you have evidence that public officials haven taken bribes, please contact the proper authorities so they can be prosecuted.
And speaking of gas well fires, how many Fort Worth residents died in gas well fires in the last year? I'd bet more residents died in swimming pools than in gas well fires.

You failed to mention that most of the methane in the atmosphere comes from natural/organic sources, not from natural gas wells. In fact, a report released last spring by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concluded that one of the main causes of rising methane emissions in the last century was rice paddies. I'd bet that the trees on the UTA campus contribute more methane to the atmosphere than the gas wells.

Funny, I thought the constitution guaranteed us the right to confront our accusers and that we were presumed innocent. Apparently the Fort Worth City Council has suspended the constitution so as to increase revenues.
