Eating and drinking events in Dallas-Fort Worth November 19-25
"The theme: Bordeaux Meets Texas"
If this is meant to celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau, somebody needs to provide the French-American Chamber of Commerce with a map of the French wine regions. They are about 250 miles apart.

Wonder if he developed the trademark before or after this was published in 2004?

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines debuts green plane with environmentally friendly interior materials
Are there any studies on what those "green" plastics do to air quality in enclosed spaces, like, say, aluminum tubes at 35,000 feet?

Molto Formaggio cheese shop in Dallas just got best cheese ever known to mankind
Worzel:
"Acccording to the Gubbeen website, the cheese has been handmade by Giana and Tom Ferguson since 1979, from cows on the Ferguson family farm..."
Same farm, same cows, same hands, right?
It is a big load of gubbins, or perhaps a touch of the Irish.

Second branch of Dallas-based Burguesa Burger to open in Irving next week
"What other burger chain has a signature item called lLa Monumental' with two beef patties, cheese, slice of ham, crunchy orange tostada, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, onions, special sauce, and jalapeno? ... What other burger chain gives you a tiny doughnut on the straw of your milk shake?"
To which I say, "¡Gracias a dios!"

Oxygen reality show Naughty Chef gives Dallas chef Blythe Beck her 15 minutes
This is a welcome addition to the panoply of food shows, because we need more "fried everything" in the American diet. I hope none of the staff, customers or chefs keel over from heart problems in one of the episodes.

Fort Worth hosts legendary weekend of jazz, funk, etc.
When did George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic switch to jazz? Don't The Blind Boys of Alabama perform gospel? If Chris Botti is a legendary jazz paragon, then man, is jazz in serious trouble.
