No need to tip toe around it by saying it's the owners to blame. It is the dog. They have been bred to fight, the best fighters have their lines continued. They are always the sweetest dogs right up until the minute they snap back to their purpose in life.

DC, my good friend's sister used to work at the Men's club a few years back. They only allowed women in if they were accompanied by male friend/husband. Reason given - wanted to keep it a gentelmen's club and not a lesbian hangout. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just the business model.

They handed me a sample of the basic chocolate yesterday and it was wonderful. I wasn't even in the mood since it's still hot outside but it was delicious, very smooth and not too sickeningly sweet. I wanted to go back in for more.

Bummer. This was a pretty cool place, sort of took you back in time, like an old dinner theater. Probably a little too high concept for Grapevine. This is the second business to fail in that site.

It's all good. Jason, not even a hint of snark in your post. I offer to apologize to staff for my oversensitivity by reviewing the Z next time I'm over in Flower Mound.

Thank you Alex Bentley. I really enjoy this site, so happy to have found it. However, if the comments start to take on a generally snarky tone, I will lose interest quickly. I used to live in the Mound, so I was interested in the comments here. There are at least 4 or 5 negative posts, so unless you think it is a conspiracy by a direct competitor (or in an opposite situation, an owner telling all his/her friends to post bouquets), the staff need to let it go and show your readers some basic courtesy.

I understand advertising is what makes this thing run, but those flash ads turned me against the DMN website. Annoying and overused. I'm excited about the new search features - can' wait to try.
