Best bets at the State Fair of Texas on closing weekend
As far as the food goes...the best new this year that I tried was the Fried Club Salad. Still my favorite foods are from previous years. #1 is the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Waffle Balls. I hadn't tried them before, but a close second is the Fried Cheese Curds. Also the Fried Banana Pudding (inside the tower building) is pretty yummy. I was excited to find the Fried Green Beans (had been looking for them the past 3 years), but not too satisfied with them. The first couple were good, but basically too much batter to bean ratio.
Always fun to catch the parade at the end of the night. I love the stilt walkers and the one on the springy stilts.

Looks like we are going to have perfect weather on Sunday! I saw a forecast today that said, High of 84. Going to be a blast!

Good Guys preview on Fox includes expected Dallas scenery
We watched last night, mainly to play spot the locations. It was actually better than I expected. There is potential.

I Heart Boba
I am enjoying my iced sassy green tea right now. We stopped in to check out Village Tea after lunch. Pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to going back when we can relax and enjoy our tea there. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Next time we will sample the food menu, too.

I disagree eanpegasus. Canton turns into Columbia/Abrams, so the traffic flow is steadier. I've rode down Elm Street on Thursday evenings
