awesome. You know, I thought of you when I read this past issue of GOOD, Jason. Good stuff, indeed.

Potential Banksy painting at Dallas intersection isn't a Banksy after all
And in my haste to get to the bottom of the KIDS mystery I forgot to answer osterbusch's initial question: the KIDS tribute piece was done by a pair of local graf artists named Fetus and Debt.

I can confirm that it's been there for at least a month or so. If it has anything to do with the Exit Through the Gift Shop, it's a case of someone who got inspired by the movie. Most sincere form of flattery, you know..

Never mind, I found out. KIDS died this year. Dont know from what. He apparently was hittin' up the US in that time I hadn't seen anything from him. I always liked his stuff and apparently he elevated to nationally-known street status.
RIP King KIDS

I do not know who KIDS is, but there is a deeper story there. There was a writer in the E. Dallas and downtown area mostly that went by the name of "KIDS." Hadn't seen anything about him for about a decade when in the past few months I'd been noticing "RIP KIDS" popping up around the neighborhood. I wonder if this may be some kind of tribute piece.
So the question is.. DID KIDS DIE? I need to know the scoop on what happened here.
