Deep Ellum has a history long said and done. The 20's and 30's were friendly to and Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Johnson, & Leadbelly, to name a few familiar names. Gone, gone, gone is that day. The root of the issue is Dallas, it's direction and it's greed. STOP TEARING DOWN MY HISTORY!

On Daiquiri Dump is closing

Yeah, but be realistic no amount of statistical analysis (i.e. math ) will quell the reality of traffic sucking. There has been construction in Dallas for as long as I can remember and yet we still cannot go. Why? Way to go 5 man crews!

Being a long time forced listener of the crap that corporate radio plays over, and over again, I believe this is the greatest thing to happen to the local dial since KZPS came on the radio. How many times can you hear A side Led Zeppelin, Boston, Rush, etc. and truly be excited. Go get an ipod, and fill it up with the numerous, overplayed "corporate classic rock" that is not the only classic rock available. I'm not even a country fan anymore. Anything that got past the soundtrack for urban cowboy might as well be pop music. Good luck to Willie and the new radio station, and maybe, just maybe other corporate staions will go independent and play their "better than crap" programs.
