I enjoy Sol's, I miss the Addison location, that owner is a pretty funny guy, we went to do an early morning radio show at 102.1FM The Edge a few years back, he is a riot! Good place to eat.

Stan Slawick and his wife Janina, who by the way, is the ghost that haunts the Round-up Saloon on Cedar Springs (proven fact)started The Old Warsaw Restaurant. Thier legacy continues today,... this is a great place for an old-fashioned and TRUE romantic dinner.Strolling violinists, honorable and classic waiters and JUST GREAT dishes being served. Al Hedary has done a wonderful job with this place, across from The Crescent Hotel. It is a true staple of the Dallas dining scene.

Goff's, good food, but too much extra baggage with the name thoughm for those that remember. Harvey Goff, added so much to his old spot on Lovers Lane, people went there to eat burgers, BUT ALSO to see his show. Berading customers, that was part of the show. He entertained me for years!

Classy place. They keep going and going, I like Chaucers, thier first place in Addison was great. Glad they are down here now. Good stuff.

Addison Mayor Joe Chow, is the owner of this GREAT restaurant. The BEST and highest rated chinese restaurant in Dallas. I have been there MANY times and Joe runs a great place there. The Hong Kong Steak dish is the best, with raw ginger root on the side, the soup beforehand, egg-drop is awesome. Just consistently good food served there. AND you gotta go there on Chinese New Year week, live lion dancing, just awesome and loud while you are eating!! My only 5 star comment, May Dragon in Addison. Say "Hi" to Joe and go there, you won't be dissapointed, ask for Joe to sing karaoke, "I did it my way" by Sinatra! Full bar as well! ;)

Denton is just not ready for $48 steaks, too many college age people live there. Why don't people use marketing and demographic tools, to identify the correct marketplace, when deciding to open a new business!?

I agree with A.T., just a great meal to be had there. One of the employees there, a female is sooooo friendly, don't know her name but she has a stylish mustache, no disrespect intended. If you have eaten there then you have seen her, she is sweet! Great for people watching as well, right by the Crescent and Hotel Zaza, seen a few celebs there over the years.

Pat Snuffer of "Snuffers" has a great ghost and his burgers and fries are good too. His Greenville Avenue location DOES have a ghost there. She is in the back room areas and has been for years, just ask the wait staff or Pat. Also check out the alley-way between Snuffers and the Granada Theatre. A young man was shot, to death, mafia-hit-style, while sitting in his BMW right there just a few years ago. Orbs, at 3:00am, just might be him floating around in that alley-way. Sad but true, maybe it is him? Two more good reasons to go to Snuffers!

I have eaten there forever!! Always the best since I was a pup in the 1960's. REALLY, REALLY it is the best pizza, and that salad with the three "real olives" in it is to die for!!! In the evenings, I would call ahead and request the "back room" where all the celebs would be dining. Always, the food is great. And to Alexis54321, Jack Ruby, he ate there the night BEFORE he shot Oswald, not JFK-as you stated above in your blog. All the Campisi Family clan has been cordial over the years and when they filmed "JFK" the movie in Dallas in 1991, Oliver Stone and I met there and ate. Good memories. Best place to eat pizza, PERIOD.

The best place, in the best neighborhood, to kill some time! Eating good food and drinking cold beers! Just fun. And the people and traffic watching is great.
