Dallas Cedars neighborhood residents try to shut down homeless event

This is more about making the congregation feel better than helping the homeless.

Dallas Cowboys intend to bid for NCAA men's basketball Final Four at new stadium

I think it's great they're doing this for the city of Dallas...uh, Arlington...uh, themselves.

Dallas jail's good time policy unfairly criticized by media

Considering "good time" is intended to be an incentive for good behavior, tell me what is unfair about this criticism:

"...that incentive does not exist in Dallas County, which gives every inmate serving jail sentences the maximum 3-for-1 "good time," regardless of their behavior or willingness to work."

Lighting up Feliz Navidad or Farmers Branch revisited

I think the people of Farmer's Branch have every right to try to maintain the quality of life of their community. And that 10 or more people living in a 900 square foot home isn't good for them or their neighbors.

I think if there weren't 20,000,000 illegal immigrants here, wages would be higher and there would be fewer of the working poor that you have dedicated your life to helping.

I think our politicians shouldn't buy votes by giving away citizenship to people who are just here for a job and loyal to another country.

I think a guest worker program, not amnesty is the only reasonable course.

    Thanks for asking.

UPDATED: Dallas high school student sent to Haskell jail for being undocumented

Larry works with the working poor. If there weren't 20,000,000 illegal immigrants here, wages would be higher and there would be fewer of the working poor.
