I live downtown in T&P Lofts, and we desperately need some kind of grocery store besides Super Target! Even a convenience/deli type store would be perfect, but the ones downtown now are not open on the weekends.

This is very disappointing!! I really hate going to starbucks, but we rarely have other options available. I agree, the downtown location seems like it's never open, and I live on the south side in T&P building! Hopefully when the Omni is completed and "SoDo" starts becoming more of a go-to spot, Four Star will keep better hours. You could also support Eurotazza on Camp Bowie which is not too far away.

I love my 200K condo in dowtown FW, but if I had a million dollars to spend on a DFW residence...I would go to Dallas! Well, actually I would buy a beachhouse in Florida...

I got in just in time to see Cross Canadian Ragweed and Black Crowes. I had previously seen Black Crowes at Nokia and thought they put on a great show. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with their performance this time. I felt like they gave us the "B track" concert instead of playing their big hits that we all know and love. They started out strong with 'Twice as Hard' and the crowd was into it and rocking out. Then they switched to loooonng and slow jams featuring each of the band members. Sure, I understand that this concert was a little more laid back and smaller than their normal venue, but the audience had been there since noon; they were hot, tired, and drunk - the last thing they need is music that puts them to sleep! I watched the crowd dwindle as people got bored and left. They didn't play another big hit until 45 minutes later, unfortunately the crowd was so zoned out by then that the band couldn't get the crowd back up to the energy level it was at before. Disappointing!!
