    Kids and family events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, April 1-7

    Free Family Fun Fest at Winfrey Point, White Rock Lake.. April 4th, Saturday 8:30 am to 10:30 am.. In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month, Family Outreach Dallas is hosting the Family Fun Fest for children under the age of 12. There will be a Kids 1K run at 9:30 am in conjunction with the Dallas Running Club's monthly event. Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs, Bunny Hop race, Make & Decorate a Hat, Bean Bag Throw, Macaroni Necklace, Tattoos, Balloon Toss, Fire & Police Department Friends, Snacks donated by Whole Foods, Photos with the Easter Bunny by Destiny Photos. www.dallasfamilyoutreach.org
